My Beloved

The love of my life is like no-one
I have ever known before.
When I awake in the morning and
see the sun rising, I think of Him.
My heart leaps in amazement and wonder of Him.
When I look into the sky at night
and see the stars shining brightly,
I think of Him.
He is brighter than the sun or any
shining star,
His beauty far more lovely than the
most beautiful flower.
His purity, whiter than the whitest snow;
So white I cannot look upon Him
When I feel Him close to me,
I feel more beautiful and loved that anyone.
It seems His love is so consuming
That there couldn't be any love left over
for anyone else
And yet, He loves you just the same as me.
The love He shows me in all its depth and purity
He has also for you.
His hands are constantly out-stretched towards you;
They still bear the nail marks where He
was pierced for you.
The love He has for me is there also for you;
If only you would accept it.
